About Mary Lawson
Mary received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a subspecialty Palliative Care (DNP) in July 2015, at the University of South Alabama
She received her Post-Master's certificate (FNP)Family Practice Nurse Practitioner, in May 2008 at Northern Kentucky University, her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) at University of Southern Mississippi in May 2001, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Southeastern Louisiana University in December 1995.
She has been a Board certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Family Practice for 7 years. Mary has extensive experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Palliative Care & Hospice as a Nurse Practitioner.
With 20 years of Health care experience, she is well trained in Critical care, Emergency care, Oncology, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry, as well as 8 years of experience in health care administration.
Mary has received numerous accolades for her work. She received the Leadership Award from Baton Rouge District Nurses Association 2006 as well as the Nurse Practitioner (APRN) of the Year 2012.
